In-Dependent Living · Last updated June 2, 2026
Theory Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the In-dependent Living mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and the role you choose (independent senior or caregiver). We also record your agreement to our Terms of Use.
Health and Daily Living Data
To provide the App's core features, we store information you enter, including:
- Medications, doses, schedules, and reminder logs.
- Calendar events, appointments, and recurring activities.
- Reminders, notes, and activity entries.
- Pairing codes that link an independent user with caregivers or family members.
Device and Usage Information
We collect a push notification token so we can deliver medication reminders, calendar alerts, and SOS notifications. We also record the date of first launch on your device to manage feature timing.
Camera and Photo Access
If you use the medication scanner, the App accesses your device camera to read pill bottle labels. Images are processed on-device and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Purchase Information
Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. We receive a non-personal identifier confirming your subscription status. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate medication, calendar, reminder, and SOS features.
- To synchronize data between paired independent and caregiver accounts.
- To deliver push notifications you have enabled.
- To verify subscription access and manage your account.
- To improve reliability and diagnose technical issues.
3. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Paired accounts. If you pair with a caregiver or family member, they will see the medications, calendar events, reminders, and activity data you choose to share through the App.
- Service providers. We use Supabase for secure data storage, Apple Push Notification service for alerts, and RevenueCat for subscription management. These providers process information on our behalf.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users.
4. Data Security
Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with row-level access controls so that only authorized users on your paired account can view it. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
